‘GET THE ROCK BLOCK LOOK’ - SEASON 3 RECAP

Our eyes were glued to this season of Rock the Block where top HGTV designers battled in design challenges week over week right here in Nexton, the neighborhood where we love to call home. These design duos renovated four blank-slate properties by Hunter Quinn Homes on the same block right down the street with their signature styles to morph them into the ultimate Lowcountry oasis. The winner of each weekly challenge received extra cash for their renovation budget.

Following each episode we recreated these final winning renovations to shop the redesigned look, bringing those pieces and shoppable links from each episode directly to the homes of viewers. This week we watched the season finale where ‘Married to Real Estate’ stars Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson not only took the highest net appraisal winning the overall challenge but had the street named in their honor. Talk about bragging rights!

Here is a recap of each episode and our recreated looks to bring Season 3 winning spaces directly to you and your home! Follow us on the LIKEtoKNOW.it shopping app @brittanyandtrenton to get the product details from each episode.

Episode #1: Kitchen Showdown

Jenny and Dave Marrs kicked off the show wowing us with their kitchen revamp! We loved everything about the final design from the soft palette, natural light, finishings and let’s not forget about that pantry! The custom artisan touches gave this space character while keeping an airy coastal feel.

Episode #2: Living Room Showdown

Egypt and Mike for sure created the winning design! We loved everything about the final design with how consistently it flowed from the completed kitchen space, to the perfect touches of decor, and the extra square footage with storage added in the entry! The tile and color in the powder bath made just the right statement off the main living room.

Episode #3: Master Suite Showdown

Twin sisters Lyndsay and Leslie absolutely nailed the master suite! We loved everything about the final design from the selection options in the master bedroom, to the custom master closet with added laundry, along with that master bath and it’s soaking tub! Color choices, accent walls and lighting were on point! Adding wallpaper as an accent wall is always a smart idea from a design stance to serve as a focal point.

Episode #4: F.R.O.G Showdown

Jenny and Dave Marrs took their second win of the season! We loved everything about the functional flex space created in the FROG and the creativity in the loft! One of our favorite things in here is the stained glass windows sourced from a local antique store and the secretary desk Dave built himself.

Episode #5: Exterior Showdown

Egypt and Mike did it again! This duo rocked the exterior, everything from the curb appeal to backyard design. We loved how they brought the inside out, created a space to gather and entertain! Three patios, an open green space, an outdoor kitchen, and an outdoor fireplace with an unobstructed lake view - yes, please!
